THANK YOU!

PART A: Jurong Lake is a freshwater lake and reservoir located in the western region of Singapore formed with the damming of Sungei Jurong further downstream. A landscaped sanctuary called Jurong Lake Park was built around the perimeter of the lake and work was completed in January 2006. Also, a 2.8 kilometre water promenade along Jurong Lake Park would allow residents to participate in watersports.
PART C: Our community is the tree community. There were many different types of trees around the whole park but not many animals around. However, we managed to get pictures of the organisms living on the trees. Most of the organisms we found were fungi and insects such as ants and dragonflies. We also found some reptiles.
(pictures can be found in part B )
"THE TREE COMMUNITY IS VERY IMPORTANT,
IT IS A HABITAT TO MANY CREATURES,
THUS WE SHOULD ALL TRY OUR BEST TO CONSERVE IT."
PART D: The river was very dirty and there were some rubbish in the bushes. There were many rubbish bins around though. The river was polluted maybe because of the shops nearby.

"TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT
JUST AS HOW IT TOOK CARE OF US."

PART E:
The park management officials did an average job. Although there were some cleaners clearing the rubbish, but mostly, they only cleared the rubbish in the rubbish bins. The cleaners did not pick up litters on the floor, in the bushes or in the river. I think they should further protect the natural environment by training
the cleaners to pick up rubbish in the river using devices and pick up rubbish on the floor and in bushes too. The park management should also have a routine check at the park on the plants and the cleaness of the environment.

"WE SHOULD ALL PLAY A PART IN KEEPING THE ENVIRONMENT CLEAN,
JUST BY PICKING UP A PIECE OF LITTER,
GOES A LONG LONG WAY."
